FAQ
What are leased beats?
Leasing rights give the music artist a certain amount of uses per lease. Once it runs out, the customer would need to buy another lease for the same beat. You can give out as many units as you can, it’s really all up to you. … It is a cheaper price for the artist, because this is meant for mixtapes and promos.
What are unit?
A unit is measured as each individual sale of your song through singles, albums or any other commercial medium. Units are also used to measure the allowance of usage for monetized online videos, at a rate of 100 views per unit.
3,000 Units = 300,000 views
10,000 Units = 1,000,000 views
Unlimited Units = Unlimited views
If the unit allowance your license has provided is used up, you will need to update your license accordingly.
